You have a servant’s heart You can multi-task in your sleep You love working on a team WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE DOING: Assisting with the visitor and new member connection process and the recruiting, connecting, encouraging and retention of volunteers Working with various ministries to enable visitors and new members to get connected with the appropriate resources and groups Managing the onboarding process for new members (paperwork/recognition/reporting) including ROCK database management, running reports, and sending out information about Starting Point in a timely manner Assisting the Connections team with breaking down barriers and developing relationships with volunteers for the purpose of getting them connected with their passion for serving Maintaining a small volunteer team that helps with weekly tasks in the office Assisting with communication, organization, and implementation of meetings with Decision Guides and Baptism Attendant teams Maintaining calendars; scheduling events, meetings, and appointments for Connections Ministry OUR MUST-HAVES: Good communication and people skills Ability to adapt quickly to change and understand the culture of Southeast Ability to implement organizational plans and structures Independent thinker and problem solver Flexible and calm under stress Proficient in Word, Excel, Data Entry and other office skills Flexibility to work a Sunday - Thursday schedule College graduate with administrative, customer service and volunteer experience preferred Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church mantra in tangible ways If you can’t wait to get started, apply today!
