Fellowship Adult Discipleship Assistant Little Rock, AR


Position Summary

Fellowship Bible Church is seeking a team oriented, gifted administrator to support the West Little Rock Campus Adult Discipleship Team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Pastor of Adult Discipleship—schedule meetings, take and compile notes from team meetings, work to help coordinate workflow for Adult Discipleship Team, etc.

  • Provide administrative support to Discipleship Pastors and the D-Group ministry.

  • Administer Communication Request forms to Media Department.

  • Initiate and Manage Events in Espace.

  • Process and Submit Check Requests and Expense reports to Finance.

  • Process and send mass emails and mail outs to volunteers, leaders, D-Group/class members, and the church at large.

  • Responsibilities for weekly classes – Coordinate sign-up, set-up and other logistics for men’s, women’s and other discipleship courses/classes in the fall and spring.

  • Registration, finances, contracts, payments, and other needs for Discipleship Ministry events during the year.

  • Be department expert on Ministry Platform (database) & Nexonia (expenses).


Other Responsibilities

  • Embody the vision, mission and values of Fellowship and help others do the same.

  • Maintain a healthy life in Christ through personal spiritual growth and community with others.

  • Take care of any cash flow for Discipleship classes/events.

  • Manage D-Group and class information in database and for the online Group Finder.

  • Communicate with vendors and outside services for ministry events.

  • Coordinate information across campuses for Adult Discipleship as needed.

  • Attend the West Little Rock Campus.

  • If not a member of Fellowship Bible Church, must be willing to go through the new membership process and become a member.


Experience and Education

  • College degree preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role or professional setting


  • Self-Starter – Initiates well on their own and able to learn new skills and tasks quickly

  • Task Oriented – Is hardworking and is willing to check things off the list

  • Time Management – Able to balance multiple tasks in an effective and efficient manner.

  • Communication – Speaks and writes with clarity and professionalism

  • Relates comfortably with adults of all ages

  • Serves and interacts well with volunteers, leader, elders, and other staff

  • Operates well in a team environment


Work Schedule (approximate)

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:30-5

  • Wednesday 9-7(when there are classes the AD Team is administrating on Wednesday evenings)

  • Friday 9-12

  • Saturday Off

  • ·Sunday Off (except for special events which occur a few times a year)


Reporting Structure

  • Reports directly to Pastor of Adult Discipleship
