Campus Worship Pastor

STAFF LEVEL                    

Full-Time, Exempt

40 weekend hours required                                          

Overall Responsibilities:  
Partner with the Global Worship Pastor to create an enjoyable, accepting, authentic, relevant, and powerful weekend experience.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Lead people comfortably into the presence of God;
  • Lead worship services weekly. To include, but not limited to: leading rehearsals and service run-throughs, debrief weekends and provide feedback to the Central Team;
  • Develop and build culture;
  • Establish and maintain the excellence of the environment;
  • Shepherd team members;
  • Spot, recruit, and develop worship team members through the Central onboarding process;
  • Be available for leading, planning, and participating in special events;
  • Lead & develop the student bands, with a goal of developing players for LP services;
  • Other areas as assigned by the Global Worship Pastor

Skills & Attributes:

  • Leadership skills (including the ability to recruit and develop);
  • Creativity and a strong work ethic;
  • Commitment to excellence;
  • Highly proficient vocal;
  • Musical talent and abilities may include, but not limited to: instrumental, arranging/producing, songwriting, ability to sing and coach harmonies;
  • Strong communication skills on and off the stage;
  • Basic understanding of music theory;
  • Basic abilities in a DAW (Ableton, ProTools, Logic, etc)

Experience Required:

  • 5 years of staff worship leadership experience;
  • Band leadership and musical development
