It’ll be a big yikes if:  You don't love working with a computer most of your day.   Some things you would be doing: Interact with technical and non-technical users in an understandable and concise manner while solving technical issues Perform administrative security functions in the database (manage account access, set appropriate security access rights for users, groups, and roles). Build customized reports for ChMS using t-SQL, Reporting Services, and built-in ChMS query builder Test future enhancements and bug fixes of the ChMS for reliability, scalability, and accuracy Meet with Ministries to determine what database functionality can be utilized to aid in their job performance Partner with Database Manager to implement new features, including backend configuration and testing, to documentation and training of staff. Perform setup of check-in, small group, online registration and other participant/volunteer involvement in ChMS Instruct individual and group training on ChMS for end-user, non-administrative functionality and features Identify and address data integrity,and required maintenance issues within the ChMS. Provide first level database help desk support to ministries. Act as a back-up for Database Manager Our Must-Haves: Excellent Communication/People skills required Experience managing teams, and project management experience desired Advanced Microsoft Office Application skill set Experience creating and presenting training materials Self-motivated, highly detailed and process oriented, motivated to maintain excellence in the church's database.
