The Financial Systems and Data Analyst supports the Finance Teams at Life.Church by bridging financial information with technology through creating visual presentations, data crunching and analysis, and software support.

The Finance Team serves the payroll, accounting, forecasting, and financial reporting needs of Life.Church. We’re looking for a Financial Systems and Data Analyst with an exceptional degree of personal and professional integrity and a passionate desire to use their gifts to serve the Kingdom. Who you are:

    • Process-minded and constantly thinking about ways to maximize efficiency – both in your own work and in your team’s work
    • Able to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information with an exceptional degree of professional integrity
    • Laser-precise when it comes to details with an eye for how they fit into the big picture
    • Adaptable to tight and fluctuating deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
    • Familiar with understanding, designing, documenting, and supporting financial internal controls
    • An experienced professional with at least 3 years of experience in managing software implementations and/or managing software vendor relationships
    • A team player, willing to do whatever it takes to help your team succeed

What you'll do:

    • Partner with all financial operations leaders to identify ways to optimize operational and cross-departmental effectiveness
    • Lead various projects for the Financial Operations Group, including large software implementations
    • Act as a Systems Administrator for third-party software applications, becoming a subject matter expert and making updates as needed 
    • Develop and maintain financial dashboards using business intelligence tools
    • Provide direction and feedback to Financial Operations teams on system communications and training platforms

For bonus points:

    • You have multiple years of financial experience under your belt
    • You think it makes cents to use financial puns
    • You are familiar with expense reporting software (such as Coupa, Concur, or Abacus)
    • You have experience in forecasting and financial planning software (like Adaptive Insights or Forecaster)
    • You understand Business intelligence and analytics tools (such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI)
