Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Assistant Director, the Human Resources Processor will be responsible for front-line administrator and internal contact for the Human Resources Department, including entering, maintaining, auditing, and processing sensitive data. This position will also assist in other various duties as assigned by the Assistant Director to further advance the ministry.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serves as the primary recipient and processor of organization-wide Personnel Status forms.
  • Ensures the timely implementation of database changes from Personnel Status forms to ensure accurate payrolls.
  • Add any necessary payroll adjustments related to Personnel Status forms to manual payroll adjustment sheet.
  • Obtain and manage job descriptions as related to Personnel Status forms.
  • Upkeep and manage Positions module in HRIS.
  • Works closely with Early Childhood to help process Personnel Status forms and manage changes.
  • Performs monthly audit to reconcile electronic employee files.
  • Assists in managing employee hard copy and electronic employee files.
  • Processes employee terminations in HR systems.
  • Manage terminated employee files.
  • Provides back-up for other functional areas of Human Resources Department.
  • Performs other duties assigned by Assistant Human Resources Director.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, Associates degree preferred
  • Two (2) years of administrative experience
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Called to support ministry

  • Knowledge of modern office methods and procedures, filing, telephone techniques, and office equipment; as well as English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

  • Ability to manage time and multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally orally and in writing.
  • PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Word, Planner, & Teams).
  • Must be punctual, pleasant and tactful with professional appearance and conduct.
  • Exhibit professionalism and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Capacity to interact positively with and provide service to others at all levels within JRC.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervising personnel, coworkers, civic organizations, business professionals, and the general public.
  • Must have strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills.
