LP Kids Ministry Coordinator - Firewheel

STAFF LEVEL                      

Full Time, Exempt

HOURS PER WEEK:           
40 - weekend hours required                                       


Overall Responsibilities: 

The LP KIDS coordinator will oversee planning and logistics for weekly preschool programming for children at Lakepointe as well as assume ministry responsibilities on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • Lead coaches through support, encouragement, and assistance when necessary.
  • Recruit, train, schedule and oversee leaders for programming needs.
  • Provide floor supervision on the weekends and during midweek programming.
  • Connect with families and welcome children and guests. Provide follow up throughout the week. 
  • Be familiar with curriculum each week in order to help coaches and leaders as needed.
  • Be aware of all preschool policies as outlined.
  • Ensure leader follow up, placement & paperwork is completed on a timely and consistent basis including orientation and training.
  • Communicate all problems, needs, concerns and ideas with KIDS Pastor.
  • Participate in planning and implementing team fellowships, training events, and fun.

Experience Required:

  • High School diploma.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Previous Children’s Ministry Leadership preferred.
