LPKids Sunday Grade School Associate

STAFF LEVEL                  
Ministry Associate

Full Time, Exempt

40, Weekend Hours Required

Overall Responsibilities: 
Work with the Associate Pastor and other team members to provide quality programming for Kindergarten – 5th grade.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Be a contagious contributor to team culture
  • Lead and supervise Sunday Grade School Bible Study programming
    • Direct oversight of K/3 small groups and Clubhouse Shepherds/Greeters
    • Direct oversight of Outpost and Slide
    • Floor supervision during 9:30 and 11 service
    • Build up strong Saturday lay leadership team
  • Lead K-3rd grade groups during MidWeek programming
    • Staff, recruit, and train small group leaders
    • Oversee tracking of all handbook and essential kids
    • Distribute and clean weekly resources
  • Weekly check on all K/3 resources, ensure supplies are maintained in K/3 environments, and all K/3 rooms are LP Clean
  • Review & evaluate curriculum from an implementation perspective. Provide feedback to the Central Programming team.
  • Work with Children’s Ministry Bible Study Team, Preteen Ministry Team & Special Needs Team
    • Development & implementation of recruitment strategies; including the development of a strong lay leadership team
    • Development & implementation of communication strategies
    • Planning and implementation of leadership training events, planning meetings and encouragement events
  • Serve on the KidQuest Leadership Team
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Experience Required:

  • High School diploma

Experience Preferred:

  • College degree
  • Children’s Ministry leadership experience
