You have Instrumental expertise in guitar or piano/keyboard Strong relational skills with others in a live band setting Ability to be able to quickly see the different musical elements that are needed in a service Able to worship as you are anticipating the different sections of a song or service Proficient in writing/arranging charts and/or sheet music Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Actually Be Doing Provide Music Direction for the Worship Ministry of Southeast. Arranging music for SE services and events. Providing tracks for SE campuses via weekly ‘Master’ Ableton sessions. Providing charts and reference audio for SE Campuses via Planning Center Online. Acting as the SE Blankenbaker MD leading through rehearsals, services, and events. Steering the direction of musical ‘style’ across SE. Writing and developing new worship songs that serve the SE church family Maintaining a high level of excellence within the Worship Ministry of Southeast. Recruiting, training, and discipling SE Blankenbaker Campus worship volunteers. Scheduling volunteer teams for SE Blankenbaker Campus services and events. Resourcing SE Worship Volunteers across all campuses via periodic training events. Our Must-Haves Able to communicate in a group setting that is relevant to the age and cultural demographic in attendance for the purpose of growing fully devoted disciples of Jesus Knowledgeable in social media platforms that are currently being used by High School and Middle School students Willingness to be mentored and coached to improve as a pastor, preacher/teacher and leader Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, presentation, facilitation skills Discernment & administrative gifts Ability to initiate creative and innovative approaches to communicate and reveal the Gospel of Christ Commitment to professional and personal development (learner) Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one); supports our Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church; lives out our church Mantra in tangible ways. https://www.southeastchristian.org/sermons/mantra/be-the-branch-2   Required Education, Experience, and Membership Proficient in music technology such as ProTools, Ableton Live, Logic and MainStage Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, or on worship team. Minimum of 1 year college education.
