Job Description

Job Summary

The North Campus Elementary Coordinator is positioned to work closely with the Elementary Campus Pastor to implement and execute ministry as it relates to logistics, set-up, small group and large group supplies and team recruitment.  They will also assist the campus pastor by providing leadership to Dream Team members.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

Small Group Prep
  1. Recruit and train an effective team for small group
  2. Multiply small groups as necessary
  3. Develop a team of coaches to assist in overseeing Small Group ministry during services
  4. Communicate all details of small group in a timely manner
  5. Print and distribute Small group game plans
  6. Be familiar with everything needed for a successful small group and ensure that all needed supplies are readily available
  7. Create samples of small group activities
  8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of small group rooms, ensuring basic supplies are in place at all times


Venue Prep

  1. Ensure café is adequately stocked including money box, food items, signage
  2. Assist Campus Pastor to oversee set-up of all café specialty items (popcorn, slushies, etc.)
  3. Manage games in the venue – keeping them organized and set-up before services
  4. Set-up craft tables and other specialized areas as needed
  5. Oversee set-up needs for each service as needed including but not limited to
    • Chair set-up (at times coordinating with facilities)
    • Stanchions
    • Signage
    • Café chairs

Dream Team

  1. Serve as campus Dream Team Coordinator
  2. Recruit, train, and develop a team to assist for set-up and tear-down of venues
  3. Develop team needed for periodic cleaning and organizing of Kids space
  4. Enter Dream team into Planning Center and Database
  5. Weekly communication with team
  6. Recruit, train and develop Sunday and Wednesday Kids Dream Team

Service Responsibilities

  1. The Coordinator role’s primary responsibility involves managing Sunday and Wednesday services and Dream Team.
  2. Absences may not exceed 4 Sundays and Wednesdays per year.
  3. Assist campus pastor by overseeing rotations
  4. Lead huddle times per direction of campus pastor
  5. Teach / host / train new leaders during service

  • Absences may not exceed 4 Sundays and Wednesdays per year.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  1. Must be able to handle discipline issues and interact with parents in a professional manner
  2. Must be able to handle confrontational situations with parents and/or leaders as needed

  7. Maintain loyalty to the staff and church, actively promoting unity within the church.
