The Purchasing Director Systems and Process Innovation provides thought leadership and casts clear direction ensuring Purchasing systems and processes align with organizational initiatives. 

As technology changes rapidly, the Purchasing Team is focused on making the most of this moment in history by discovering the most effective and efficient way to source products, materials, and services that support ministry teams. We are passionate about what it means to be behind the scenes, leveraging technology to support ministry teams on the front line helping people engage with God, the Bible, and each other. The Purchasing Team works with vendors to maximize cost and time savings on behalf of ministry teams. By collaborating with ministry and central teams and providing excellent customer care we minimize team members’ time spent on sourcing, negotiation, and contract review so they may focus on the role to which they are called. The Director Systems and Process Innovation provides oversight, analysis, and annual evaluations of existing business systems that support our ministry.

What you'll do:

    • Elevate and expand development of existing Purchasing systems to scale
    • Contribute towards system and process review
    • Lead change management for the Purchasing team, as well as other ministry teams
    • Lead system risk assessments and complete annual evaluations for leadership
    • Cast direction for Purchasing systems and integration within Logistics and Life.Church business systems
    • Lead the way modeling a heart to serve Life.Church staff and teams
