Job Description
The SE!KIDS Ministry Associate at our SW Campus will serve with SE!KIDS Ministry Leader to oversee Children's Ministry from birth through 5th grade. This person will partner in the leadership, training, equipping and shepherding of all Children's volunteers who serve at SW Campus. Helping to bridge the gap between the church and home by equipping parents to recognize and engage in disciple-making with their children. What You’ll Actually Be Doing Implement children’s ministry vision and goals in conjunction with the Children’s Ministry Leader Lead a team of volunteers by recruiting, training, onboarding, equipping, appreciating, and encouraging them. Invest relationally with volunteers and families on Sunday and throughout the week. Connect to, disciple, and lead families. Provide pastoral support to children, parents, and volunteers Lead weekly huddles to pray with and encourage volunteers before weekend services. Edit, adapt, and implement age appropriate curriculum for large and small groups. Shared planning responsibility of children and family events Help oversee first impressions in children’s area. Set up and tear down children’s ministry spaces for weekend services.
