Who Are We Looking For?

Infinity Church is looking for someone who is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ and who knows God through His Word. We are seeking someone whose faith is evident in the fruit they bear, and who has a clear calling from the Lord into ministry. We are looking for the right person and will make the job description match that person.

What Will this Person Do?

We pray that this person could serve Infinity Church primarily by investing in students of our church and our community. Infinity has a high percentage of families with children and youth, so this staff member would be investing in those families.

We also want to support and help develop the gifts and passions of this staff member! This could include being involved in ministries such as leading music, preaching, discipleship, technology, new members, missions, outreach, or other areas as God so directs our steps.

How Will this Contribute to the Mission of Infinity Church?

We believe God is Applauded when people of all ages see and savor the glory of God. We pray this staff member will help the next generation put their hope in Him. As this staff member works with our students, we pray that they would Abide in Christ together. This staff member would also help equip our students to Advance His Kingdom by the power of the Holy Spirit.

How Will this Staff Member Fit in the Leadership Structure of Infinity Church?

The student pastor will report to the pastor and other elders. This person will lead student minister volunteers, and they will be a member of the children’s ministry team.

How Will this Staff Member be Compensated?

Full-time salary ranges will follow guidelines and recommendations from Greenville Baptist Association and SCBC. Specific salary and benefit package TBD.

Infinity Church Profile

Who Are We?

We are a local church founded in 2011 in partnership with the Greenville Baptist Association and the South Carolina Baptist Convention. We are an elder led church, with a congregation who is very eager to participate in the work of the ministry. We meet in a non- traditional building that has been renovated to fit a very comfortable style of gathering. We know one another well and are known for being very welcoming to all who visit and join. We are grateful for a diversity of ages represented in our faith family, from a strong group of retirement age folks down to our large number of families with young children. We also celebrate a diversity of backgrounds from those who grew up in church to those who have made Infinity home as their first church ever. Many of us can be honest about our broken stories that God is working to rebuild.

Our music is lead by a contemporary band whose standard of excellence leads us in authentic worship. Our preaching is committed to a regular rhythm of sequential exposition of Scripture across both testaments, usually in 5-6 major sermon series per year. From the beginning, Infinity has been a mission minded church, and we have identified strategic partners whom we invest in heavily, including a family sent out from our church as missionaries at the end of 2021. We are kingdom minded and eager to continue partnerships with sister churches for the sake of the advancement of the Gospel. We continue to work toward building a culture of discipleship through the combination of a 9:30 Bible Study hour on Sundays plus a handful of discipleship groups that meet throughout the week. We are grateful for the work God has done in and through Infinity Church in nearly 12 years, and we trust that God is able to do infinitely more than we might ask or think, all to His Glory.

Where Are We?

Infinity Church meets at 412 Fairview St. Ext. in Fountain Inn. This is one of the fastest growing areas of South Carolina. Numerous housing developments are under construction within a couple miles of the church, and the brand new Fountain Inn High School is already filling up past expectations.

What Do We Believe?

We believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his Son, who was crucified and buried, and who resurrected and has ascended, and in God’s Holy Spirit. See our Beliefs Document as well as the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message which we affirm.

What Do We Do?

We exist to Applaud God, Abide in Jesus Christ, and Advance His Kingdom by the power of the Holy Spirit.
