Christ Community Church in Sioux Center, Iowa is seeking to call a pastor to lead us as, confessing our brokenness, we commit to loving Christ and one another and sharing Christ’s love and God’s Word with our community.

Seeking a lead pastor who:

• Leads with a shepherding heart
• Fosters unity through difficult situations/conversations.
• Welcomes with a come-as-you-are invitation
• Preaches and teaches with a high value on the Word of God and how it relates
to our lives

Seeking a lead pastor with:

Strong relational skills within the church and church staff
Excellent communication and leadership, understanding the importance of casting a vision for the church
Active involvement in multiple areas of ministry in the church

Seeking a pastor who leads with:

Passion for the people
Commitment to outreach and expanding evangelism/discipleship
Excitement for the church’s multicultural ministry
Zeal for ministry to all ages, including children and youth

The lead pastor must adhere to the EFCA Statement of Faith and a Biblical view of marriage, be centered on the gospel, and dogmatic about Salvation. Preferably, candidates will be licensed or ordained in the EFCA or be willing to make application for credentialing by EFCA within the first year of ministry at the church.
