The Associate Pastor will assist the pastor in the administrative details related to programming and aid in all pastoral responsibilities as deemed necessary and/or appropriate by the pastor. The Associate Pastor to Student Ministries supervises the you and children’s ministerial staff and lay staff leadership. The Student Pastor will be hands on in student ministry, ages 6th-12th grades, and give attention to the needs and direction of children’s ministry.

The Associate Pastor to Student Ministries will…

Assist the pastor in the overall programming of the church, aid in special projects, and implement specific assignments by the pastor related to general pastoral activities.
Meet regularly with the pastor and ministerial staff for planning, evaluating and coordinating the ministries of the church.
Coordinate the planning, organizing, and staffing of special projects, camps, retreats, Wednesday night services and monthly fellowships for Student Ministries.
Develop relationships with local school officials and be available to speak and/or visit in the schools.
Communicate with the Children’s Director with any needs in assistance, training, or corrections for improvement if needed in the Children’s Ministry.
Must be able to preach when Senior Pastor is not available.
Be on alert to assist both workers and youth in reaching the unreached.
