Hope Fellowship Church is making a lasting impact in our community by leading people to love God, love people, and prove It. We are looking for someone to fill our open role of Worship and Technology pastor. This position is a 3/4 time position to start, and will require roughly 30 hours per week. We believe that worship is so much more than songs before a sermon. We believe it is a way of life. The responsibility of a Worship and Technology pastor is to lead others to live their lives continually praising God for his goodness and faithfulness. Role Summary

In this role you will prayerfully plan, organize, and lead two worship services on Sunday morning, lead occasional worship nights, and help lead special events. The Worship and Technology pastor will recruit, train, and build the Worship Team.

Talented musician with experience on keys, guitar, or other instruments
Ability to lead a band using click-tracks and in-ear monitors
High organizational drive and a natural bias toward execution
Strong communicator who listens well
Possess a strong ability to both engage and interact with people. This will include opportunities before and after worship on Sundays and during the week.
Readiness to handle conflict management and initiate crucial conversations as needed
A team player and team builder who focuses on the good of the entire church
Good understanding of technology and media in the church today
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ministry in a church

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Lead Worship Team and manage volunteers as needed. Develop and manage the on-boarding process for potential new worship team members.
Shepherd and invest in worship/production team volunteers.
Be prepared to lead band and vocalists in practice each week – be prompt.
Create and execute the Sunday Worship experience with input from the lead pastor.
Use Planning Center to manage the scheduling of musicians and volunteers and inputting of charts, parts for vocalists, setlist, times, etc.
Pay close attention to make sure the lyrics to the songs we sing line up with our theology and doctrine.
Attend staff meetings (every other Tuesday 11:00 – 1:30) and cultivate relationships with other members of the staff.
Worship pastor is expected to participate in the entire worship service.
Lead on Sundays from the overflow of your heart and personal time with Jesus
Disciple and develop the worship team
Help with the upkeep of the church website, and other technology items as needed
Edit video from Sunday worship service so that the sermon is available online.
Video filming/editing experience is a plus.
Special holiday services we host: Good Friday, Christmas Eve (late afternoon)
Ability to troubleshoot technology-related issues or concerns as it pertains to Sunday worship services (e.g., live streaming, audio, etc.)
Willingness to engage in our small groups ministry (Hope groups). Hope groups meet every other Sunday night for a spring and a fall semester.

We expect this job would require approximately 30 hours a week

Potential work schedule:

Sunday
- 7:00-9:00 am practice
- 9:30 am first service
- 11:00 am second service
Monday – Thursday
- 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
