Emit Grove Baptist Church

Emit Grove Baptist Church is a Bible based church located in Statesboro, GA. We have two services on Sunday morning: a contemporary service at 8:30 am and a traditional service at 11:00 am. The ideal candidate will have an affinity for both contemporary and traditional music. The salary is negotiable.

Potential candidate must:

Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that is consistent and growing through prayer, Bible reading and church fellowship.
Live a lifestyle of a spirit-filled Christian, having a teachable spirit, good attitude, and a servant’s heart.
Avoid “even the appearance of evil” (I Timothy 3), remembering that you represent Christ and His church wherever you go.
Be willing to follow leadership with a humble spirit and always protect the unity of the Spirit (Ephesians 4:3).

Duties will include but not limited to the following:

Lead worship in the 8:30 am contemporary service
Lead and direct the praise band
Lead worship in the 11:00 am traditional service
Help oversee the media of the church (sound, video)
Work under the direction of the pastors at EGBC
Participate in Sunday morning Bible study
