At First Baptist Church of Denham Springs, Louisiana, Student Ministry is a vital part of who we are. Our Student Ministry has seen exciting growth over the past several years and now we’re ready launch into Junior High and High School/College only ministries. Our current Student Pastor will be moving into the role of Junior High Pastor so we’re seeking the man God has for our High School and College ministry.

Our purpose is to reach people with the Gospel and to lead them to be devoted followers of Jesus Christ and we’re looking for our Pastor for High School and College to help us fulfill our purpose. If you love leading students (9th-12th grade and college) to see life change happen in the context of small groups and an on-mission lifestyle and are ready to lead this type of movement, we’d love to talk with you!

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF DENHAM SPRINGS

Years ago God led our church to relocate to the heart of our city and since 2017 we’ve been in our new location. God has grown our church from an average of 425 in worship to nearly 1,000 in just under four years. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

This position requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as a staff member in a Student Ministry leadership capacity. Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical studies or related field is beneficial, but not required. (Extensive ministry experience, in some cases, can be substituted.) The successful individual will be a strong leader with a solid work ethic, possessing a passion for teaching students about God and the ability to administrate well. We are seeking a candidate that is married. A working knowledge of creative programming related to student programs and special events is a real plus. Salary range $50-$65K.
