Responsible for the spiritual development of children, youth, and young adult church members. 40 hours a week.

Supports the youth ministry by developing programs and events that cater to the spiritual and social needs of youth within the church.

Principal Accountabilities:

· Supports the children’s ministry by assisting programs and events that cater to the spiritual and social needs of children within the church.

· Supports the youth ministry by developing programs and events that cater to the spiritual and social needs of youth within the church.

· Supports the young adult ministry by assisting programs and events that cater to the spiritual and social needs of young adult members of the church.

· Coaches, mentors, and develops the teachers and leaders of children, youth, and young adult ministries, including planning and providing classes for continued development in their roles.

· Researches and selects age-appropriate curriculum for youth.

· Teaches Youth during Sunday and Wednesday services.

· Works with coordinators to develop volunteer curriculum training.

· Must affirm Baptist Faith and Message 2000

· Ensures fiscal responsibility and adheres to departmental budget.

· Performs other duties the executive pastor requests.

Job Skills Required: Must meet the biblical qualifications for overseer found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. Good verbal and written communication skills. Must possess and demonstrate ability to preach and teach, relate to and mentor people of various age groups, oversee various ministries, and equip others for ministry.

Education: Master of Divinity or equivalent is desired but not required. Related ministry experience is desired but not required.

Salary Range: $50-60 annually, plus benefits. Full time/exempt
