Job Summary

The Student Pastor or Director is responsible for ensuring Immanuel Baptist Church partners with families of students (7th grade – 12th grade) to connect, equip, and multiply the next generation of disciples of Christ.

Responsibilities

1. Vision

Own Immanuel’s vision and mission.
Determine ways to effectively cast and invite others into God’s vision for students and their families.
Develop and personally cast vision for the Student Ministry.

2. Strategy

Develop and implement a strategy to partner with families of students to connect, equip, and multiply the next generation of disciples of Christ.
Create, maintain, and troubleshoot all aspects of our weekly and special event experience for students and their families.

3. Leadership Development

Build, oversee, and champion a culture of leadership development within the Student Ministry.
Read books and attend approved trainings for sharpening your discipleship and development methods.
