Jefferson Baptist Church is looking for a full-time Children’s Minister. This person would oversee all children from ages birth through fifth grade. They would oversee and work alongside the Associate Children’s Minister and Children’s Ministry Intern.

Job Responsibilities

Cast a vision for the Children’s Ministry at JBC and execute that vision alongside the JBC staff.
Organize weekly events including Wednesday night activities and Sunday morning connection groups and Kids Church.
Plan monthly events for the children’s ministry, including large-scale events (Easter egg hunt, Fall Festival, etc.) and smaller events.
Plan, organize, and direct Vacation Bible School of approximately 350+ kids.
Disciple children from birth-fifth grade as Jefferson seeks to invest in them.
Communicate with families, parents, and the congregation of Jefferson regarding children’s ministry events.
