Bi-Vocational Worship Leader

The primary responsibilities of the worship leader will be to lead a thoroughly blended worship service and grow the music ministry at Liberty Baptist Church.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ø Continue to grow and mature in Christ as a Godly person of integrity. Have a strong sense of calling and identity in Christ

Ø Demonstrated leadership in being able to disciple those in sphere of influence

Ø Provide leadership, vision, and passion for Liberty Baptist Church in the area of music and worship that is in line with the overall vision, purpose, and mission of the church.

Ø Lead in creating and implementing new worship opportunities which align with the church

Ø Coordinate with the Pastor to create and lead a well-blended and engaging Sunday morning and evening worship service.

Ø Recruit and develop a worship team and scheduling of vocalists.

Ø Prepare for and lead rehearsals, as well as consult with the Pastor to coordinate music for Sunday services

Ø Lead worship with a strong vocal ability. Ability to lead with piano or guitar accompaniment preferred, but not required.

Ø Develop and administer an annual budget for the music/worship ministry in accordance with financial policies of the church

Ø Assist in planning, implementing, and leading worship for special events outside of Sunday worship services
