Pathway is a small but growing congregation in an area that is heavily hispanic. We are praying for a man of God with the ability to relate with the youth and their families as we seek to reach our community for Christ.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have an authentic growing thriving relationship with Christ.
Must meet qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:6-9.
Must be a person of Integrity, character and conviction.
Must have a strong desire to see others come to a relationship with Christ and after salvation help them grow in their faith.
Have a passion for family ministry, specifically students.
Able to preach, teach, relate to, and mentor people of all age groups.
Proven capability to multitask by overseeing various ministries and equip others for the work of the kingdom.
Be able to balance ministry and family life.
Must affirm the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
College degree/Ministry experience is desired but not required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide vision, leadership, and oversight to our children’s ministry (toddler-5th grades).
Primary Bible teacher, leader, mentor for our student ministry (6th-12th grades).
Assist the pastor in providing counsel, discipleship, encouragement to families, students, and other church members. Involved (as allowed) with the local elementary, middle schools.
Work with youth committee in planning youth camps, mission trips and other activities throughout the year. Oversight of the ministry budget with recommendations for the following year.
