Pineywood Baptist Church Pastor Job Description

Pineywood Baptist Church (PBC) is seeking a God called man to serve this congregation as Pastor. PBC is located in Cameron, NC. Pineywood is a small, rural church of blended families ranging from senior adults to young families with children. Desired candidate should possess some divinity education in seminary or Bible college. Three to five years of ministry experience is preferred. Candidate must be an able teacher, gifted in communicating the Word of God to help disciple and teach others to understand the deep spiritual truths of God. Candidate must be skilled in communication, counseling from a biblical perspective, and able to weekly prepare sermons as required. Candidate must be capable of developing a vision for the future of this church. Candidate must affirm the SBC Faith and Message Statement of 2000.
