Pleasant Dale Baptist Church is seeking a fulltime Minister of Children. The primary role will be to develop a plan for the discipleship of the children and carry out the plan with excellence. He will also coordinate special events, trips, counseling, and visitation with the children in this ministry area.

We are looking for an individual who is passionately seeking the Lord Jesus Christ on a daily basis, someone who can lead and love our children and families out of the overflow of his own relationship with God and knowledge of the Scriptures. We would love to partner with someone who is dedicated to raising up a generation of children to seek the Lord, someone who desires a career in Children’s Ministry.

PDBC is a very stable Southern Baptist congregation with over 75 years of history. We desire to reach our community with the gospel through lifestyle and an annual outreach that that draws more than 3,000 individuals. Dr. Jessie Adams has led the congregation as Senior Pastor for 10 years and was our former Youth Pastor. We recently moved into a new 800+ seat worship center as we anticipate further growth in our ministry. Our children’s ministry is currently averaging around 50 students weekly and is led by a team of dedicated volunteers.
