Hello,

We at Radersburg Baptist Church are in search of a pastor. “RBC” was founded over 25 years ago when Pastor LeRoy was “called by God” to establish a church in our small, rural town with a mining history.

We are very rural with no amenities. While there are closer smaller towns, the closest city is Helena, Montana’s capital, which is about 50 miles away. Next is Bozeman, renowned for skiing, outdoor activities and only a short drive from Yellowstone National Park. Montana offers many activities such as: hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, skiing, biking, as well as cultural events, etc.

LeRoy remained our pastor for 12+ years until God called him to a Christian motorcycle and hospital ministry. Next, we were blessed when God called Pastor Richard & his wife, Brenda, (who came to MT. from GA as missionaries), to be our pastor. They were here 13+ years, until they retired in late summer of 2021.

We are currently being led by an interim pastor who, for health reasons, is unable to consider long term.

We are a small, aging congregation, but everyone is active and serving God and the church in some capacity. Our hearts are always open to ways God might use us. On one wall of our church hang 2 maps. The map of the world is dotted with pins denoting where God has used and is using us through Missions work, both financially and personally. The map of the United States is highlighted with Radersburg as the “hub” and strings (much like the spokes of a wheel) stretching out to all the states we reach with our monthly newsletter and teaching publication, The Sword and The Trumpet.

We are a praying, giving body of believers who stand on the (uncompromised) whole Word of God- His Bible. Our church’s Mission Statement: “To faithfully Encourage and Equip Everyone to Follow Jesus”. We desire to continually grow in our walk with our Savior, being continually filled with His Spirit, equipped and encouraged to reach out to the lost in our community, our state, our nation, and the world.

The pastor for Radersburg Baptist Church should be:

Born again and personally profess Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and be Holy Spirit filled.

“Called by God” to RBC and our congregation and meet the biblical qualifications of a pastor, as found in 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, and 1 Peter 5: 1-4

In full agreement with the doctrinal statement of the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message.

Believe and teach the entire Word of God without compromise – preaching Sunday mornings

A graduate of an accredited seminary, preferably.

Bi-vocational, retired and /or needing only supplemental income. There is no parsonage available.
