STUDENT MINISTER – Raleigh Road Baptist Church, Wilson, NC

Overview

Raleigh Road Baptist Church is seeking a part-time Student Minister The Student Minister is responsible to provide creative, effective and high-quality leadership for Student Ministries (6th grade – 12th grade) at Raleigh Road. This primary responsibility is to be met by planning, supervising and overseeing student ministry activities of the church in a well-organized and professional manner that will engender participation and foster growth of the Student Ministries.

Employment Status: Part-Time/Exempt (20 hours)

Qualifications

Members must meet all biblical qualification of a pastor/elder/overseer as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9, 1 Peter 5:1-4
Maintain a consistent Christian testimony, stay fresh in relationship with Christ, effective with family and creative in ministry.
Maintain relational, spiritual and professional trust with Elders, Staff, and Congregation
Passionate about reaching and ministering to students and parents of students with a heart for understanding their special needs and a desire to include this valuable group of people in the ministry of the church
Capable of recruiting, training, and motivating student ministry volunteers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited university desired
