General Job Description: The Associate Pastor of Student and Family Ministries reports to the Elders of the church. He will oversee the spiritual needs of the Student Ministry, including teaching and discipleship of FBCC students currently in the 6th through college age group. He will work closely with the Elders on the strategic vision for the family ministry program. His duties include the teaching of scripture, ministering to students and their families, implementing the family ministry vision, and directing outreach ministries for students.

Responsibilities:

Lead families and students in reaching their circle of influence with the gospel through ministry and missions activities.
Provide pastoral care for students and their parents.
Works with the Elders to further develop and implement strategic vision.
Meet regularly with Children’s Director, Elders, and other ministry staff to ensure the strategic vision of the ministry to reach families with the gospel is being accomplished.
Recruit, train and shepherd volunteers.
Plan and manage student ministry budget.
Ensure safe and healthy environments where all students feel valued.
Promote a staff culture that demonstrates harmony, honesty, and servant-leadership.
