Union Baptist Church of Ahoskie, NC is prayerfully seeking a full-time pastor. We are a rural conservative congregation in northeastern NC, affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and West Chowan Baptist Association. We adhere to the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith 1689 and the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Union Baptist is seeking a Pastor who believes in the Bible as the infallible Word of God, and whose life and ministry models being a Spirit-led disciple of Jesus Christ. The pastor of Union Baptist Church is responsible for overseeing and spiritually shepherding the church. He shall be the supervisory and administrative servant-leader of the church, casting vision for all areas of the ministry and service. In addition, he should demonstrate effective communication, exhibit care and concern for the congregation and cooperate with associational, state and denominational leaders.

Candidates should be licensed and ordained ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; High school or equivalent (GED) required; Theological seminary training and prior experience as a lead/senior pastor preferred.
