Westmoreland FBC is a contemporary style church about 50 minutes northeast of Nashville. We are a church of a weekly attendance around 150 and slowly increasing back to our pre-Covid numbers. We are seeking someone with a calling and a passion to lead our youth and take our youth ministry to the next level. Please read the following Job Description:

The Minister of Youth will be responsible for the following:

– Organizing and teaching our Youth on Wednesday nights

– Teaching the Youth on Sunday mornings during our 9am Bible Study Groups

– Be actively involved with FCA in our area

– Planning various youth trips, retreats, monthly activities and gatherings including summer camp along with attending school events

– Keep an up-to-date calendar of coming events and promote them church wide along with keeping up with a social media page for the ministry

– Help recruit/enlist new workers as the Youth Ministry continues to grow and new families become a part of WFBC

– Assist the Pastor in other areas as needed such as hospital visits, emergency calls and other ministry related needs in the church

– Faithfully attend church-wide functions…services, gatherings and events

– Host, lead or attend one of our Loop Group home Bible Studies

– Stay within annual youth ministry budgeted amount

– Serve as an active member of our church Leadership Team

– Meet with the pastor on a weekly basis and all youth workers monthly
