General Summary:

Responsible for all aspects of care and spiritual guidance of youth from 7th to 12th grade. Serve as a positive role model and youth advocate, provide programming and events consistent with the message and focus of Wylie United Methodist Church such as: Bible studies, social events, mission trips, and Sunday school. This position reports directly to the Senior Pastor.

(Wylie United Methodist Church currently has part-time openings for Youth Minister, Children’s Minister, and Congregational Care Coordinator. While the need to fill these positions is great, finding the right person is of the utmost importance rather than just someone to fill a staff slot. As such, any two of these roles may be combined to create a full-time position.
